Jee Le Zaraa: Farhan Akhtar Yet Again Takes Reference From His Previous Film’s Song For The Title Of Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif And Alia Bhatt-Starrer
Do you guys see a pattern in Farhan Akhtar’s film titles? Well, if you haven’t then, happy realisation and if you have, then we do think alike. Interestingly, the titles of Farhan’s movies are highly inspired by the songs of his previous projects. Noticeably, Farhan has once again used the song from one of his previous films as the title for his upcoming venture, Jee Le Zaraa, starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt. How come? Well, explaining it in detail, the Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara title came from the lyrics of the title track of Rock On. The lyrics go: ‘Rock on..  Yun hi dekhta hai kya tu? Rock onn... Zindagi milegi naa dobara.’

Similarly, the title of Dil Dhadakne Do, which was made under the banner of Farhan Akhtar's Excel Entertainment, also emerged from one of the songs featured in ZNMD. The lyrics read: "Kab tak ginein hum dhadkein, dil jaise dhadakey, dhadakne do... Kyun hai koi aag dabi, shola jo bhadakey bhadakne do..."

Now, coming to Jee Le Zaraa, the title is so inspired by the song Jee Le Zaraa from Talaash, starring Aamir Khan, Rani Mukerji and Kareena Kapoor Khan. The film was produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under Excel Entertainment and Aamir Khan under Aamir Khan Productions. With Jee Le Zaraa's announcement, we also wonder if he is going to continue the song title streak for his upcoming projects as well because we surely are enjoying this.

Talking about Jee Le Zaraa, Priyanka Chopra mentioned in her long Instagram caption that ‘Katrina, Alia, and I enthusiastically met in February 2020’ for the film and it took them three years to finally come on board and to kick-start this fabulous project.

An excerpt of PeeCee’s note read, “This one is to sisterhood… to friendship and to breaking the mould!! Can’t wait to get on the road with Aloo and Katty. My heart’s smiling.”

In response, Farhan said, “So looking forward to get the engine running on this one”. The road-trip film will be helmed by Farhan Akhtar, and is expected to hit the big screens in 2023.
